Boneheads in the News

The month of January has given the Boneheads unparalleled media exposure both at Northwestern and in the nation at large. We point you toward two significant events:

Bonehead Bowl 2010

The annual Boneheads versus the World football game was attended by Wildcat senior Superback Mark Woodsum, who, naturally, played for the Boneheads. Victorious in everything but the final score, our efforts were covered by the Daily Northwestern.

Goodbye, Conan O'Brien

Like all of America, many of the Boneheads were shocked by the so-called "Late Night Wars" and the treatment of Conan O'Brien by NBC. Boneheads thus featured prominently in Northwestern University's demonstration of support.

These efforts were recognized by the New York Times, deeming two Boneheads-- Alex Gough and Rob Meyer-- worthy of its news-fitness-judging ink.

Needless to say, Boneheads across the country are incredibly proud and excited, with one alum commenting, "WOOOOOOOOOW! There should be a link to that on the Bonehead website or something.  It's really awesome!"
